Well, that depends on you. I practice 4-5 times a week usually, as do many other clients who are pilates-obsessed like myself. Do you need to come five times a week to see results? No. Pilates may be your only form of exercise in which case I recommend three times a week to feel best results. Many others will come once or twice a week as an addition to their other activities.

Who cares?! Pilates will make you strong for the apocalypse. But I get it… sometimes with a few extra pounds we really don’t feel like ourselves. Like any movement practice, you are burning calories and gaining muscle mass (not bulking) which burns more fat. Pilates targets the core but all our classes are a full body workout with varying intensity. There is a strong focus on strength, flexibility and control. Hot tip! Any exercise class that replies yes to the above question is lying - or at least missing half the point. Weight loss involves a ton of other factors including, sleep, diet, genetics, hormones, stress, etc. I often say I have a pretty sweet six-pack under my wine and cheese ;)
If you make pilates part of your self-care routine, I’m willing to wager you’ll make healthier choices throughout the week.

When a spot opens up, you will receive a text message giving you 60 minutes to confirm you want the spot. If you confirm but do not have an active membership, it will charge you the drop-in rate. If a spot opens up 60 minutes prior to the start of class, all those on the waitlist will receive a message and the person with the fastest fingers gets the spot. No messages will be sent out between 11pm and 5am.

We have a strict 12 hour cancellation policy for reformer classes and 6 hour cancellation policy for mat classes. We are a small studio with only eight spaces per reformer class and 20 per mat class. We have to be rigid without exception to ensure we are fair to all clients. If you cancel after the cancellation period you will lose the class. If you are a monthly membership holder, you will automatically be charged $15 plus tax. No-shows will be charged $20. Please note that any e-mails sent looking for an exception will not be responded to.

If you have your doctor’s permission, yes. This is the beauty of pilates. All of our teachers are great at offering modifications if needed. Certain classes may not be appropriate for you. Get in touch to discuss your particular case.
