We are two boutique sister studios in the Glebe and Beechwood. The Mat Lab is your new home for mat Pilates + Yoga. We are intimate, cozy and never intimidating. New and seasoned movers welcome.
We are affiliated to Glebe Pilates and Pilates on Beechwood and have a few membership options that include classes at all studios.
Where to Start?
Come try out your new home for mat pilates and yoga classes. For $99 enjoy 30 days of classes at either of our Mat Lab locations. Mats are provided. All our classes are room temperature.

PILATES
CLASSICAL SERIES - Takes you through the original exercises as intended by JP.
BEGINNER - This not just for beginners. Think of it as a space to fine tune the basics.
FLOW - Our Flow classes let the music move you through transitions while staying true to the Pilates repertoire.
BURN - Prepare to feel the burn and experience the pilates shake! We’ll burn out those small muscles you didn’t know you had through precise movements and controlled breathing.
BEATS - A reinvention of the pilates practice. Think pilates and spin had a baby. The music is loud and fast, and the moves are in time with the tunes.

YOGA
YIN - Slow, meditative style of yoga that focuses on holding passive stretches for 3-5 minutes. This grounding practice targets connective tissues, joints and fascia and helps to increase flexibility and release tension.
FLOW & LET GO - This class harmonizes activation and relaxation. Start with an energizing and dynamic flow and finish with a slow, meditative yin practice.
VINYASA - A dynamic and fluid style of yoga that synchronizes breath with movement to create a flowing sequence of poses.
POWER YOGA - Challenging poses and quick transitions designed to improve strength and endurance.

YOGALATES - Our Yogalates class, is a harmonious fusion of yoga and Pilates that combines the best of both practices. In this class, you will experience the perfect balance between the strength, stability, and core engagement of Pilates, and the flexibility, mindfulness, and breathwork of yoga. You will flow through a series of movements that seamlessly integrate the precision and control of Pilates with the fluidity and mindfulness of yoga. Through a combination of mat exercises, you will strengthen your core, improve flexibility, enhance body awareness, and cultivate a sense of inner calm and balance. It’s a perfect marriage between two practices!
